New Homes and New Neighbors to Help Windsor Flourish

With the development of a community comes improvement to the area that benefits everyone – not only Prairie Song residents, but also its neighbors.

The National Association of Home Builders estimates a dramatic economic impact from the construction of 100 single-family homes in a local area. A development like Prairie Song can create as much as $4.1 million in local income, an additional million dollars in taxes and revenue for local governments, and nearly 70 local jobs.

Beyond its economic benefits, Prairie Song’s master-plan design is bringing enhanced open spaces with respect for the natural environment.

Humming Trail will further the open-air connections between downtown Windsor and its surrounding communities. It will encourage all Windsor residents to take advantage of more opportunities to get some fresh air while commuting, and in turn cut down on emissions and time spent in our cars.

Community parks will strengthen pollinator populations and provide well-landscaped areas to take a breath and take it all in. Because when you put intention behind designing parks with purpose, everyone benefits.
