Construction Update & A Big Welcome For Our Three Acclaimed Builders

Hearts are singing at Prairie Song as three acclaimed builders bring their collections to this community of new homes in Windsor. Bridgewater Homes, Century Communities and Richmond American Homes are working to create a diverse range of home plans that allow residents to enjoy the benefits of this impressive new neighborhood.

Along with model homes currently underway, the community is progressing so first residents will get to enjoy the first roster of amenities without delay. “We are beginning installation of the community’s entry monument and park equipment and working to finalize construction on the Pump Station, and should receive full acceptance from the Town of Windsor for our first neighborhood any day now that will us to tackle construction in full,” says Patrick McMeekin, president of land development at Hartford Homes.

New Homes by Bridgewater Homes at Prairie Song

Bridgewater Homes is finishing up two model homes in Prairie Song, which are slated to open this winter. “Our two models will be wrapping up drywall here shortly, which in my mind has always meant we are in the home stretch and ready to turn these houses into homes,” says Dugan Murphy with Bridgewater Homes.

Bridgewater will offer a selection of luxurious, new, single-family homes at Prairie Song. Many plans will come with size upgrades, including the two-story Adeline model which features 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, while the Adeline 55 offers the same functional layout with an added guest suite with a private bath and a walk-in closet on the main level. Similarly, the popular ranch-style Hudson comes with 3 beds and 2 baths, while the Hudson 55 features an extra five feet in the center of the house, creating a grander entrance. Both the Hudson and Adeline plans boast open-concept layouts that are excellent for entertaining.

Bridgewater Homes will also offer the Ainsley plan at Prairie Song, a larger ranch-style home with more than 2,400 square feet of living space on the main level. The Ainsley features luxury details like engineered hardwood floors, slab granite counters, and stainless steel appliances. Other ranch designs offered by Bridgewater at Prairie Song include the Hamilton plan, which features a dramatic oversized patio; the 3-bed, 2-bath Camden; the Amelia with an extended covered porch; the Paxton with split bedroom styling; the Sophia; and the Thompson.

The 2-story Emerson plan features 4 bedrooms and 3 baths with a large entryway that flows into the kitchen, while the 2-story Franklin has 4 large bedrooms and a covered porch. Bridgewater Homes will also bring its Remington, designed for multi-generation living with a split garage/private ensuite entrance, to Prairie Song. Bridgewater’s new homes at Prairie Song start at $650,000.

Richmond American Homes at Prairie Song

Richmond American Homes will also bring a diverse array of home sizes and price points to Prairie Song. The ranch-style Arlington plan is a practical, 1,850-square-foot layout with 3-5 bedrooms and the option for luxury updates on the kitchen and master bath. The 2-story Moonstone plan is a spacious and accommodating layout with 4-6 bedrooms, a secluded study room, and a versatile common area that you can adapt to your needs. The Alexandrite strikes a balance between the Arlington and Moonstone, delivering a spacious 3-4 bedroom layout across 1,850 square feet. Richmond American Homes will also offer its impressive Yorktown model at Prairie Song, a stately home just under 3,000-square feet with 4-6 bedrooms and a great room designed for luxury entertaining.
